Mayhem Cabernet Franc 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom vineyards around Munson Mountain, this cabernet franc was partially native fermented in stainless, and then moved into barrel (one new French, and one neutral) for 11 months rest. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered, reflective in the alluring, slight hazy crimson hue in the glass. Wild black cherry, dark raspberry, earthy thorns ride along a sapid green palate, tight with fine tannins, scented with wood, and rinsed with astringency on the finish.
