Harper's Trail Thadd Springs Vineyard Pioneer Block Riesling 2019
Kamloops, British Columbia, CanadaI am no longer surprised by the quality of this wine that begins with massive mineral and dynamic styling. Crisp lemons with a stony undercurrent and a medium-long dry, tart finish begs for food. It is drier this year than last, which will disappoint a few and attract others who prefer the tighter precision. More of a dinner wine this year, and I am okay with that.
