Finca Decero Malbec Remolinos Vineyard 2017

Agrelo District, Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaHaving walked extensively through this vineyard, I can vouch for the sense of place this malbec conveys. Violet, plum, and briar fruit aromas have a fragrant, juniper berry, smoky herbal scent and distinct dustiness. Oak spice and vanilla suggest time in French oak. Big and expansive, with intensive red cherry, boysenberry, and ripe brambly fruit up front, juicy craisins in the middle, then a chocolatey coating of plush oak on the finale. Spicy and full bodied with admirable elegance and savoury freshness, give it some air and a big glass. This is definitely one for a prime cut of beef.Tasted: 27 February 2021Tasted by: Prices:
