Quails' Gate Rosé 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRosé is much about style these days, so it's best you know which style you like before you go shopping. In this case, the Quails' Gate light in alcohol (12 percent) and pale in colour rosé suggests a fresher, red-fruited, lean style, and you get that all in spades. In 2019 the blend was adjusted. The gamay and pinot noir is now teamed up with pinot meunier, replacing the pinot gris content. The meunier seems to juice the entire blend up a bit, adding some electricity and lowering the palate weight. Ready to drink and about as dry as you want it. Sip all summer long. Well done.Tasted: 22 April 2020Tasted by: Prices:
