Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Terroir Collection is an elite selection of fruit from Mission Hill's growing stable of producing hectares. In this case, Jagged Rock Vineyard sits between 360-380m above sea level and is planted to clone 76 chardonnay. Its tight band of acidity and freshness jumps from the glass after fermenting and ageing in French oak barriques and puncheons. The fruit is a mix of crunchy apple notes with ripe pears creamy lees and affair amounts to citrus. It a touch disjointed at the moment, but it's young. I'm willing to bet this will evolve in the bottle into a full-bodied Okanagan chardonnay with vitality and power.Tasted: 10 April 2020Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Oliver's Jagged Rock Vineyard, and 360-380m, this clone 76 chardonnay was fermented and aged in French oak barriques and puncheons. The wood is certainly evident on the creamy palate of this youthful wine, luxe with lees, ripe pear, custard, white blossoms, and lemon peel. Acidity is well matched to the power on the palate, drawing this to a lengthy close. Quite polished, though a bit old school. Drinking well now.Tasted: 17 April 2020Tasted by: Prices:
