Delicious flavours run the spectrum from pink grapefruit to cranberry and cherry, well washed with limey acidity and refreshed by a raspberry leaf character. Dry but with plenty of fruit, this come-hither rosé is juicy, lipsmacking, and pungent in a good way. A savoury pairing like tapenade thickly spread on a crisp cracker will unlock even more pleasing fruit. Mission Hill Reserve Rosé 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIn 2019 the fruit is all Osoyoos estate. The 50/45/5 blend of merlot, syrah, and pinot noir fermented in stainless steel, save for three percent that sees time in neutral French oak. The colour is a medium pink, the nose fresh and bright, and the flavours follow along in style, mixing ripe red apples, strawberry, lemon-lime, and juicy watermelon. It is ready to drink and could be used in several scenarios such as well chilled and served solo, or to take on chicken or fish tacos, as well as cheese.
