Vietti Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne 2017
Piedmont, ItalyFrom hillside vineyards around Asti, this started fermentation in stainless, and then moved into a mix of oak and stainless for MLF and 18 months' aging. Lovely salted cassis, blackberry and dark plum stream through this medium+ red, with well integrated tannins and a snappy, very saline finish.
