Cawston, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom three Cawston vineyards, this gamay was fermented on skins before a gentle pressing into older French barrels, where it rested until the following March, when it was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Pouring a lighter, slightly cloudy hue, this gamay is juicy with forest berries, wild cherry, summer rhubarb, and dusted with soft spices.
