Jean-Paul Brun Terres Dorées Moulin-à-Vent 2016

Moulin-à-Vent, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceWhen it comes to Beaujolais, it doesn't get much better than Jean-Paul Brun. This has an expressive nose of candied cherry, violet, and crushed rocks that couldn’t be more quintessentially Beaujolais. There’s exceptional depth and purity to the fruit, which carries through to the palate. Medium-bodied, it’s a more structured style of Beaujolais, which stays true to the cru of Moulin-à-Vent, but without sacrificing any drinkability. It’s the type of wine where one glass quickly turns into two, leaving the bottle empty before you know it. This has to be one of the best values in BC right now.Tasted: 04 January 2020Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
