Chateau Olivier Blanc Pessac-Leognan 2015

Pessac-Léognan, Graves, Bordeaux, FranceA blend of 75 percent sauvignon blanc, 23 percent semillon, and 2 percent muscadelle. At five years of age, this is at a lovely stage. It combines ripe passionfruit, herbs, and white flowers with tertiary notes of honey and nicely integrated oak that is harmoniously in the background. Medium-full bodied, this has good weight and concentration, as you’d expect from the 2015 vintage, with sauvignon blanc’s characteristic tart acidity. A terrific expression of white Bordeaux at a fair price.Tasted: 11 January 2020Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
