Mac Forbes EB44 Controversy Nebbiolo 2018
Yarra Valley, Victoria, AustraliaThe EB series is Mac's Experimental Batch wines, reserved for small lots of boundary-pushing wines. This very light Yarra Valley nebbiolo was deemed controversial because this just released 2018 came out before the 2017, showing its aptitude for early drinking. Wild strawberry, light raspberry, subtle and charming florals, mustard seed skips along the light, juicy palate, held taut with tightly strung tannins, and finishing with an astringent rinse and a sprinkle of white pepper and salts.
