Lakeside Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis full, deep cabernet feels every inch of its Lake Osoyoos location, home to the first commercial orchard in the Okanagan. It's fermented in new and second use American oak for 24 months, ramping up the heft dramatically. The nose is lifted, and the fruit feels a bit over-ripe, with some leathery and baked fruit weighting the dark cherry, black raspberry palate. Tannins are plump and soft, cushioning 14+ degrees alcohol and a vanilla finished. You can drink this now alongside beef stews or grilled lamb to best results.Tasted: 03 December 2019Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices:
