Bench 1775 Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah 2016

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWinemaker Val Tait is well-schooled in the classic style of Australian red blends, i.e., cabernet/shiraz, and she brings a bit of that savoury herbaceous BC style to this smoky, ripe cherry-scented red. The attack is similar, showing bright cassis flecked with black pepper, mint and with tannins yet to disperse. A touch wild at this point, but give a year or two to come around and be the wine it wants to be.Tasted: 17 December 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
