Fort Berens Pinot Noir Reserve 2017

Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaThe first all-Lillooet reserve pinot noir grown in the Dry Creek Vineyard is a mix of five clones to bring a sense of complexity the wine, although the vines are still young. The clones were fermented separately in one-ton fermenters and punch downs three times a day and aged in French oak barrels for ten months. It is surprisingly rich with a slight hint of reduction mixed with dark cherries, tobacco dried herbs and turned earth. Wild really. Pork tenderloin, duck pizza Cornish game hens. Decant for an hour or cellar for another three years.Tasted: 31 October 2019Tasted by: Prices:
