Domaine Baron de l'Ecluse Côte de Brouilly Les Garances 2016

Côte de Brouilly, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceA serious cru built for ageing. The viticulture is sustainable, with fermentation in cement, while the ageing in oak takes place in two-year-old barrels. Look for slightly elevated tannins that will disperse with time, and rich, toasted black fruit and licorice that finishes dry and well structured. You could drink this now with a steak and peppercorn sauce or perhaps a duck dish, or wait another year or two for the final result.Tasted: 05 November 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
