Château Argadens Bordeaux Supérieur 2015

Bordeaux, FranceParts of Chateau Argadens date back to the 12th century, so when the Sichel family purchased the property in 2002, it underwent extensive renovations and investment to highlight and preserve the 45 hectares of mostly red grapes that are under vine. Dry, fresh, dense, and firm, this is more about less than a lot. A lovely modern red with mouth-filling density that is amazingly approachable right from the start. The mix is 63% merlot, 32% cabernet sauvignon, and 5% cabernet franc but most of all, it has an excellent sense of balance. It is also a versatile food wine working with a grilled steak or a meaty pizza. Good value.Tasted: 02 November 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
