Moraine Viognier 2018

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMoraine's 2018 Viognier starts out with a quiet nose of mandarin peel, ginger, and white peach, but opens up with a little more of the anticipated fruity goods on the palate. Piquant apple acidity props up ripe stone fruit flavours, custard apple, and pink grapefruit. Admirable fruit concentration pads out the mid-palate, and a creamy texture helps elongate a spicy finish where a hint of salty mineral adds interest. Clean, fresh, crisp, and streamlined, it's a pretty viognier for roast chicken or Chinese noodles.Tasted: 31 October 2019Tasted by: DJ KearneyPrices:
