Moraine Cabernet Franc 2018

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPretty, claret-coloured with a high-toned nose of newspaper ink, dark berries, a floral fragrance and leafy green shows the classic varietal characteristics of cabernet franc to a T. Mid-weight with gorgeous blackcurrant, plummy flavours, and savoury bay leaf complexity that meshes beautifully with graphite and cool menthol tones. Restrained and streamlined, this has a gravelly finish that will stretch out with a few more years in the bottle. Fresh and inviting with a simple lamb stew.Tasted: 30 October 2019Tasted by: DJ KearneyPrices:
