Laughing Stock Vineyards Blind Trust Red +02/10 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBlind Trust Red is just that: a blind red, with the grapes and proportions revealed once you peel off the capsule. But you can Trust that this bigger red blend will deliver similar results year over year. 2017 spoiler alert = 42% merlot, 35% malbec, 12% cabernet sauvignon, 8% cabernet franc, and 3% syrah, sourced from the Naramata Bench and Osoyoos. Ample and potent blueberry, ripe blackberry, juicy plum and perfumed violet flood the juicy palate, with ripe, plump tannins and heaps of peppery spicing. Fermentation is mostly in stainless, but there are oak fermenters in play as well, before aging in wood for 15 months. There's a rush of warmth on the finish, feeling its 14.4 degrees declared. Big impact for this juicy, suave, blue bomb of a wine.Tasted: 30 August 2019Tasted by: Prices:
