Howard Park Miamup Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Margaret River, Western Australia, AustraliaIt’s been a while since we have encountered a high-end Western-A cabernet that was tight and linear and well, cabernet sauvignon-like. Devoid of that the slurry of cedar and dusty earth the nose is a mix of spicy black fruit with a touch of good green. The fruit is sourced from numerous vineyard blocks in and around the subregion of Wilyabrup. The attack is all cabernet with resin dusted blackberry, black cherry fruit flecked with licorice and floral notes. A long well-integrated finish is orchestrated bt 18 months in French oak. Drink or hold through 2023.Tasted: 24 August 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
