Intersection Axiom 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWow, this is impressive from front to back. The blend of cabernet franc and merlot, with a bit of cabernet sauvignon, presents in the mouth with substantial weight and power, but with balance. The peppery, spicy fruit spills across your palate with round tannins and persistent black fruit and blacker chocolate. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of coffee, bitter chocolate and black cherry jam. There's plenty to contemplate here and it is likely best to do that with grilled lamb or beef. Well done; a wine to watch.Tasted: 18 July 2019Tasted by: Prices:
