Township 7 Rosé 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPouring a lovely pale pink, this year's rosé is a far cry from the last one we've tasted, way back from 2014. They've dialled the sugar way back to near dryish, though kept some similar grapes : merlot, cabernet sauvignon, malbec, and petit verdot, sourced from both the Township 7 Estate in Naramata, and Sunshine Acres Vineyard in Oliver. The merlot, malbec and petit verdot were direct press, and cofermented. This year cab sauv was added to the mix after to give structure and possibly some gravitas. Seems to be a working model, with strawberry gel, raspberry, candied red apple on a medium palate. Chill well and drink this summer.Tasted: 22 June 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
