Township 7 Riesling Fool's Gold Vineyard 2017

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFool's Gold Vineyard is a dry riesling from North Oliver, whose character reminds me a bit of Australia’s Clare Valley. The fruit is pressed and cold settled before fermenting at temperatures of 12-14C, with a small portion of the wine fermented wild in neutral oak, to retain every bit of the fruit. You smell and taste a pleasant fruity wine with a touch of talcum powder, grapefruit pith, lemon, lime and just a dusting of spice. Tart, crisp and ready for food, this is a winner.Tasted: 22 June 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
