Mission Hill Reserve Pinot Gris 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom two of MHFE's estate vineyards, Black Sage Road and Naramata Ranch, this is a mix of 60 different blocks, and was one quarter fermented in French oak (five percent of which was new). Potent primary pear, yellow apple, white peach, and spice rides along a silky palate, slightly plump via lees and wood to a bitter pear skin, lime pith finish. There's a stately structure to this gris, making it proper for drinking alongside white-fleshed proteins.Tasted: 04 June 2019Tasted by: Prices:
