Unsworth Vineyards Pinot Gris 2018

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaMore than a year down the road from our last tasting, 2018 is holding up just fine. It is a blend of state fruit augmented by other Cowichan vineyards, and it falls into the dry, leesy, mineral side of the pinot gris dry-to-fruity band. Look for pear, quince and grapefruit lead with a stony underbelly. Well-balanced and fresh, this is a terrific food wine, and it appears to be getting better with age.Tasted: 30 May 2020Tasted by: Prices:
