Road 13 VRM Viognier Roussanne Marsanne 2017

Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRich, potent and heady, this is a full-bodied blend of roussanne, viognier, and marsanne from Similkameen's Blind Creek Vineyard that sucks up every grade on the heat thermometer. Peach jam, apricot, lime curd, pear pie and heaps of ginger spicing flood the voluptuous palate, declared at 14.3 degrees. After whole bunch pressing and 24 hours of cold settling, it is fermented in French oak (25% new). The wine remained in barrel with regular battonage until the following summer. If you're looking for a creamy, hedonistic white to work alongside sweet/sour pork or chicken, this will do.Tasted: 28 April 2019Tasted by: Prices:
