Gérard Bertrand Art de Vivre Clairette du Languedoc Adissan 2018

Clairette du Languedoc, Coteaux du Languedoc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceArt de Vivre is Gerard’s tribute to the Mediterranean way of life right down to its natural ceramic bottle that is a reminder of the first amphoras. The white version is made with the underappreciated clairette. It has an enticing fruity nose reminiscent of white fruit – pears and peaches flecked with plums and a hint of dried herbs or garrigue. It’s the freshness that makes this wine, and even though there are 12 grams of residual sugar when the fermentation is halted by deep cooling, the wine remains harmonious and fun to drink. Serve well-chilled and try it with some spicy sushi.Tasted: 23 April 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
