Hillside Pinot Noir 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2017 Pinot Noir is all mid-Okanagan, Naramata bench fruit exhibiting some of the vibrancy of a cooler site and some of the richness of a sunny location. It opens with earthy, forest floor with a mix of balsamic and a touch of volatility. Call it complicated if you like, but the mid-palate is currently showing mineral, red fruit mixed in with sticky tannins and some savoury dryness. It could stand another year or two in the bottle, or serve now with grilled salmon, or chicken.Tasted: 17 March 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
