Fort Berens Chardonnay 2017

Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaA mix of fruit, 79 percent Lillooet and 21 percent Boshoff Vineyard in the Similkameen, makes up this entry-level chardonnay that comes with fresh, green apple, pear, and grapefruit, and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Only a small percentage of this wine is aged in French oak for nine months, which seems just about right at this level. Crab cakes, sautéed prawns or buttered clams. Fair value.Tasted: 11 March 2019Tasted by: Prices:
