Painted Rock Chardonnay 2017

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2017 is a crowd-pleaser style chardonnay focused on ripe, peachy/cherry (orchard) fruit aromas and flavours. Not quite as zippy as 2016 it likely has broader appeal, but it’s a little less Euro and little more New World in the glass. Creamy and ripe it offers up some sweet oak - best with more sumptuous dishes like lobster or turkey. It always sells out early, so it's hard to argue its popularity, but a tighter version of this grape, especially in the Skaha region, could take it to another level.Tasted: 21 January 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
