Painted Rock Cabernet Franc 2016

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2016 vintage continues to impress when it comes to the red blends. This is classic franc, balancing the dry, herbaceous, leafy notes with red fruit and perfect acidity. The fruit is all Skaha Bench that is bathed in the late day sun for most of the growing season. It was picked on November 7 in perfect condition. The palate is fresh, with fruity, violet, savoury notes, supple tannins and plenty of oak, albeit finessed. You can drink this now but five years in the bottle would be the best way to maximize your purchase.Tasted: 21 January 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
