Acacia Carneros Pinot Noir 2016

Carneros, Napa Valley, California, United StatesAcacia has been making single vineyard labels for over 30 years, but this wine is a blend of fruit from two windswept, cool, estate vineyards in the Los Carneros American Viticultural Area (AVA): Lone Tree Vineyard from the rolling hills surrounding the winery; and Winery Lake Vineyard, a couple of miles away. Both sites are home to a diverse set of clones and soils. The fruit is dark by BC standards but cool and earthy with a mix of soft, silky, black and red fruits over a spicy, plummy underside. Ready to drink. Perfect for grilled salmon or duck sausage.Tasted: 29 January 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
