Nk'Mip Cellars Qwam Qwmt Riesling Icewine 2016
Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIn 2016 Nk’Mip harvested 9.72 tonnes of icewine, the largest crop ever, on December 8. The grapes pressed out at 38 brix and you can feel a slightly lower level of sugar after the ferment was stopped early at just over 8 percent alcohol. There are strong aromas of peach and honey with a touch of mandarin and apricot. There is a freshness here that invites you back to the glass.
