Jason Parkes Customs Crown + Thieves Broken Barrel Syrah 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit comes off the warm East Osoyoos Saddle Ridge Vineyard, notable for its prime location on the Black Sage Bench near Black Hills and the dump. Look for rich, lifted, spicy, black fruit aromas. The entry is sweet-ish with intense blackberry and peppery notes akin to Barossa syrah. Expect a warm, rich, dense red with lifted blue fruit and a vanilla, American oak finish. Unlike its truly broken barrel predecessors, this wine was aged three years in new and used American oak barrels and puncheons before bottling.Tasted: 08 November 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
