Black Sage Vineyard Shiraz 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAnother tasty 2016; it seems this vintage can do no wrong. Totally ripe with sweet black fruit aromas and plenty of black pepper. The attack is similar with smooth, juicy blackberry/blueberry, dark floral notes and slightly dry tannins but with enough acidity to keep it vertical and vibrant. Very New World but this will have many fans especially given how easy it is to drink already.
