Ex Nihilo Pinot Noir 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaEx Nihilo is finding its groove in Lake Country as evidenced by this whole berry fermented pinot noir that spends nine months in American and French oak. The wood is a big part of its style, adding a softness and richness to the fruit that is reminiscent of Sonoma but with a bit more finesse. The nose and palate are a pretty mix of plummy, spicy cherry with super silky tannins throughout. Friendly, warm, juicy pinot, attractively light in hue and body (12.7 degrees) that you can drink now. Think pork, rabbit or duck.Tasted: 11 October 2018Tasted by: Prices:
