CVNE Monopole Rioja Blanco 2016

Rioja, SpainThe CVNE Monopole is 100 percent viura, grown in the Rioja Alta subzone, at high altitude where it is subject to the influence of the cold Atlantic Ocean. This style is dry, crisp, and elegant, with creamy, juicy mineral, limey fruit flecked with green. The finish is chalky with a salty, minerality. Surprisingly bottled under screw cap, leaving it as fresh as a daisy. The perfect west coast seafood wine. Monopole is the oldest white wine brand in Spain. CVNE, also known as Compania Viticola del Norte de Espana, has produced this wine since 1915.Tasted: 04 October 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
