Florence, Tuscany, ItalyRiserva di Fizzano Gran Selezione is a 35 hectare single vineyard that mixes gravel and sand over a rolling south-facing hillside. There are plans to replant the site to higher density vines over the next two decades. There is power here but mostly elegance and styling in 2013 that makes Fizzano, a 95/5 sangiovese/merlot, a pleasure to drink.
