Moon Curser Border Vines 2014

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a gritty, grippy big red blend from the bottom of the Okanagan Valley. In 2014 the blend is cabernet sauvignon, malbec, carmenere, merlot and petit verdot. Compact and intense, with tobacco, cassis jam, kiss of mint and ample dense thorny fruit. Peppercorns linger. The complexity is impressive, but the extraction is overwhelming at this point, requiring a decant and roast beef or steak to match.Tasted: 08 December 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
