Dames Rosé 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFresh and bright and electric the Dames Rosé benefits Les Dames d ’Escoffier’s BC Chapter, and young women working in the hospitality industry. The producer of this wine, Mireille Sauve, was a wine scholarship recipient many years ago. The blend is an 80/20 split of pinot blanc from Sperling Vineyards (West Kelowna) and pinot noir from Stoneboat Vineyard (Black Sage Middle Bench), and has a strong citrus undercurrent flecked with red berries to the a clipped, fresh finish that calls for food. Bone dry and sleek at 11.5 percent, but it’s a style many tired of sugar will embrace. Great for summer salads and sushi.Tasted: 17 December 2017Tasted by: Prices:
