Laughing Stock Vineyards Viognier +02/09 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSupercharged, overripe nose of apricots, sweet pear nectar and candied cherries in what is a full, fat viognier grown at Osoyoos in the Perfect Hedge vineyard. Forty percent was fermented in stainless, 35 percent in French oak and the remainder in concrete eggs, upping the voluptuous texture. The finish is long and persistent with ample ginger, and a touch of phenolics.
