Laughing Stock Vineyards Pinot Gris +20/09 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTexturally lush and full bodied, this is sourced from three Naramata Bench sites plus Skaha Bluffs site. The fruit is whole cluster pressed and settled with no skin contact. It’s fermented in 50% neutral French oak barrels, 30% stainless steel and 20% concrete eggs all aged sur lie for 5 months with weekly stirring. Ripe peach, apricot, pear and red apple jump from the glass with a just enough acid to keep it interesting. The finish is blanketed in cedar, floral spice. Serve now with fresh salmon or halibut.Tasted: 05 July 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
