Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOnly 18 cases were made of this estate Ancestrale, a mix of biodynamically-farmed, wild co-fermented gamay and chardonnay from Jay and Wendy's silty clay soils. Juicy and direct, with a flash of fleshy cherry, strawberry jam, raspberry leaf juicy watermelon and orange pith on the finish. The core of cherry jam charms, as does the 10.5 percent alcohol, perfectly balanced. There's a lovely flow to this juicy, deeper hued fizz.
