Weingut Reichsrat Von Buhl Armand Riesling Kabinett 2014

Pfalz, GermanyFarmed organically, the historic Reichsrat von Buhl estate was founded in 1849, is a VDP member and one of the legendary properties of the Pfalz. Armand was a personality in the estate’s history who put the winery on the international map, and was present at the opening of the Suez Canal where Von Buhl wines were served. This wine is said to be similar to that historic wine, and thus, was named for him. Ample kabinett sweetness here, with a thick coat of honey on the palate which supports ripe pear, fleshy apricot and lime pulp. A juicy swell counters Pfalz's round and ripe generosity, tightened with lime twist on the finish. A welcome eight percent alcohol makes this concentrated, juicy wine an easy one to drink, liberally.Tasted: 06 October 2017Tasted by: Prices:
