Swartland, Coastal Region, South AfricaThis white Swartland blend was built around old vine chenin blanc and complexed with clairette blanche and viognier. Wild ferment, low sulfur, early picking and eleven months in French oak (20 percent new) ups the complexities further. Meadow herbs and wax open the nose, continuing onto the creamy palate.
