St. Hallett Poacher's Semillon Sauvignon 2012

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaGetting bit long in the tooth but the upside is the sémillon is showing some age. Expect a nutty figgy nettle nose with bits of asparagus. The attack is dry and elegant with more fresh grassy, floral, nutty mineral fruit flavours. Best with oysters or assorted shellfish or seafood sushi rolls. Good value all under screwcap.Tasted: 21 December 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
