Douro Superior, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalBeautiful fragrant fruit on the nose, a la umami. Surprisingly refined for a Douro red especially one 100 aged in barrique for 14 months only one or two percent is new. Love the soft, chalky, tannins and fitness woven into this wine. Fresh stylish, stony, mineral spicy garrigue flavours - load up. Fine quality. Great value.
