Haywire The Bub Secrest Mountain Vineyard Traditional Method 2012

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2012 Bub is a 51/49 mix of pinot noir and chardonnay. The fruit is from Oliver and the nose is an attractive mix of stony, brioche, yeasty mineral notes on the nose. The attack is a bit crude with fresh green apple flavours, foamy bubbles and some bitter, resiny notes which may dissipate with time in the bottle if you can wait. Try this with warm cheese cookies for best results.Tasted: 15 December 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
