Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyBig peppery, smoky, coffee nose with hints of sausage meat, tobacco, roast tomato and black berry aromas. Ripe, round, juicy, smooth palate with light tannins. More coffee, vanilla, chocolate, cassis, black berry, meaty flavours with that savoury, tobacco, black olive thread that runs through Bolgheri reds. Good fruit and intensity with a light herbal note and some oak on the finish to integrate over the next few years. Best with a Bolognese sauce.
