Lombardy, ItalyI'm a sucker for Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine and when you suggest it reflects your soul and your quest for quality well it is difficult to resist. If the packaging doesn't grab you the fresh delicate styling of this all chardonnay sparkler will. The second fermentation lasts 4 weeks the bottle ageing a very respectable 36 months. Grown at altitude, 820 feet above sea level, each vineyard is vinified separately and blended the following spring. The colour is pale, the mousse persistent with delicate almost fragile citrus fruit mixed with minerals and white flowers and hint of almond.
